Opleiding/diploma’s

  • Behaalde haar diploma aan the State School of Dance in Griekenland (2002). Ze kreeg er een opleiding in klassiek ballet, Limon, Graham, Cunningham, Release en improvisatie, contactimprovisation en zang- en dramacursussen. Ze is oa. gespecialiseerd in contactimprovisatie.

Ervaring als docent

  • Ze gaf reeds les op tal van internationale workshops zoals op HAMU Academy in Prague (2011, contactimprovisatie).
  • Ze is docente bij : Professional Dance School “Grigoriadou Despoina” (2009-2011, hedendaagse dans), Terpsichore Dance School in Griekenland (2007-2009, workshops for professional dancers on performing), Fix dance studio in Griekenland (2007-2011, hedendaagse dans op professioneel niveau), Karropoulou dance studio in Griekenland (2006-2011, hedendaagse dans voor beginners en professionals) – Contemporary dance technique (beginners and professional level), Gerosidery dance school in Griekenland (2002, ballet en hedendaagse dans), Iris Seferoglou dance school in Griekenland (2005-2006, hedendaagse dans voor kinderen), Kafantari Professional Dance school in Griekenland (2003, workshops in releasetechniek) en Sofia Florou Dance School in Griekeland (2007-2009, contactimprovisatie).
  • Tijdens de voorbije 6 jaren was ze hoofd van the Contemporary Dance Department of Karropoulou Dance Academy. Ze was er verantwoordelijk om jonge kinderen tussen 8 en 18 jaar voor te bereiden op een professionele danscarrière.
  • Ze gaf tijdens de voorbije 3 jaren, als freelance docent, les aan professionele dansers ifv podiumervaring.
  • In 2009 startte ze met het onderrichten van Physical Release technique (een combinatie van alle hedendaagse danstechnieken) aan the Professional Dance School of Despoina Grigoriadou.
  • Via Choreftes Danceco heeft ze al tal van workshops gegeven (repertoire).

Ervaring als choreograaf

  • Ze was stichter van La verita Dance Company (in 2007) en is er momenteel ook choreografe en professionele danseres.
  • Ze choreografeerde reeds tal van stukken: Dreamcatcher (Athene, 2010), Scratching memories (Roes Theater in Athene, 2009; Kea Dance Festival 2009 in Griekenland; Youth Dance Festival in Athene, 2009), Truce (Athene, 2008), 3 wishes (Athene, 2006).

Ervaring als danseres

  • Ze is professionele danseres en danst momenteel bij La Verita Dance Company (Athene). Ze danste ook mee bij Zero (2011), Medea (2010-2011), Scratching memories (2009).
  • Ze was ook danseres bij the Dancers Dance Company (Athene), waar ze meedanste in choreografieën van M.Nalmpantis, A.Kazouri en M.Anthimidou. Ze danste er mee in Birlds (2009-2010), A.mou.ge.pou (2007) en Aei (2006).
  • Ze maakt sinds 2007 deel uit van het Unterwegstheater Dance Company (Duitsland). Ze danste mee in Street Solo Dance (2010), Tanzinstallation (2008, Zorn II (2008), Zorn I (2007), Wonnerbader (2007) en Pool 45 (2007).
    • Ze was danseres bij Hellenic Dance Company (Athene) en danste mee in o.a. Ultimavez Repertory, Scratching in the inner fields, Richard Alston Repertory, Gray allegro…
  • Ze was ook in 2004 – 2008 danseres bij the Mesomorph Dance Company in Athene (choreograaf: X.Striftompola) en danste bij Amalgama Dance company (choreograaf: M.Gorgia).
  • In 2000-2005 danste ze bij the Wrong Movement Dance company in Athene (choreograaf: K.Michos)

Bijscholingen/workshops

  • Ze volgt op regelmatige basis deel aan tal van workshops in hedendaagse dans en repertoire (Martin Lawrance -Richard Alston Company, Damien Jalet – Le ballets c de la b, Muriel Herault – Ultimavez, Melina Mastrotanasi – Ultimavez, Laura Aris Alvarez – Ultimavez, Natali – Ultimavez, Ori Flomin – Stephan Petronio Company, Yukiko Shinozaki, Heine Avdal), compositie en improvisatie (Julyen Hamilton, Charles Linehan, Juleyn Hamilton), choreografie (Athina Vachla), releasetechniek (Antonis Foniadakis), contactimprovisatie (Beno Voorham, Ricardo Morrison) en pilates (Alan Herdman).
  • Ze nam ook deel aan the International meeting of Contact improvisation dancers.

Andere vaardigheden

  • Ze was één van de hoofdorganisatoren van het International Conference on Contact Improvisation in Athene in 2004, waar ze zelf ook workshops gaf in contactimprovisatie en lessen voor specifieke doelgroepen (bijv. mensen met beperkingen).
